    • Most extended health care plans have insurance coverage for physiotherapy services up to a certain amount. You can look at the details of your extended health care plan or you can call your insurance provider if you want more information on your coverage.

    • Hypnotherapy is not covered by most extended health care plans. HOWEVER, if the goal of the hypnotherapy session is something within the physiotherapy scope of practice and is being integrated into your physiotherapy treatment plan then you can submit it to your extended health care provider under physiotherapy.

    • Goals of a hypnotherapy session that are within the physiotherapy scope of practice could include anything that pertains to any thoughts, emotions, behaviours, narratives, fears or habits that are manifesting physically in the body as pain, tension, discomfort, or any other physical symptom(s).

    • I do not offer direct billing. I am a one women show and don’t have the capacity to offer direct billing.

    • After your session, you will receive a receipt via email. You can submit this receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

    • The time you book for your session is reserved for you. Thus, no one else can book during that time. The closer to your session time you cancel the lower the likelihood that I can offer that time to someone that needs it.

    • Late cancellations have a really big impact on revenue and I want to ensure I have the financial capacity to continue serving you with the highest quality care.

    • If you cancel within less than 48 hours of your session time, you will be charged 50% of the cost of the booked session to your credit card on file.

    • If you cancel within less than 24 hours of your session time or do not show up to your session, you will be charged 100% of the cost of the booked session to your credit card on file.

    • To ensure payment for all sessions is collected.

    • To keep billing simple and easy on my end. I am a one woman show and am trying to keep billing as simple and streamlined as possible so I can focus my time, energy and attention on supporting you.

    • To ensure that late cancellation fees are paid.
